I don't remember her using a sword very much, but she was an excellent archer. As the novels title suggests, Pyles Robin Hood is an extremely light hearted man who frequently laughs and treats most things that befall him as a 'merry adventure' or a joke. Unlike most shows of the 50's, Marian did not just sit around in a long dress waiting to be rescued. Robin and his merry band not only defeated the Sheriff in every show, they did it with grace and humor. The Sheriff of Nottingham was a dastardly villain with no sense of humor.

He was remarkably good looking and charming. I loved the show - and I loved Richard Greene. Of all the shows that I watched when I was a child, this is the one I liked the most.
